4:45 pm	fuckin shit I've forgotten all about this thing. Well here is my update. Still at Santa Cruz, loving it here except I still miss my friends from home as much as I ever did. I'm now a Film major which I am excited about. It's actually called Film and Digital Media.. someday I'll be working for PIXAR or for some other production studio.. mua ha ha ha! It's weird to think that now I'm pretty much among the oldest students at the UC (except for the older people going back to school). Just two years ago I was the lowly freshman straight out of high school.. more importantly straight out of FOLSOM. Going from Folsom to Santa Cruz was the biggest lifestyle shift but I have come to love the weirdness here. It makes me feel like I am actually in the world, not in my little folsom bubble anymore (which I am openly admitting I was deeply in). I like the eccentric people. I like the bum that sings for money to go to Taco Bell. I like the unique fashion. I like the fact that everyone is so laid back. I like how you can find every ethnicity. I like how the beach is just a 5 minute drive away. I love how I am so much more appreciative of EVERYTHING now; mostly my parents and everything they sacrifice for me, just so I can have extra money to have fun, how they put their lives on hold to help me, how they worry about buying pool filters but they never hesitate to spend thousands of dollars just so I can have a better life. I miss everyone even though I love it here. I wish everyone would just fucking move here then I'd have everything!! These past few days have been unbelievably stressful so I haven't been in the best of moods. I'm kind of on a breather from guys too.. I've calmed down and I don't have any right now. Nothing to worry about. Anyways, since Holly still is the only person who will probably read this.. You should come visit me soon and we can get pedicures again and go to your favorite dessert place! 5:07 pm	migraine!! Yellowcard was awesome! Lani took me for an early birthday present :). The show was really fun, except for getting hit in the head all night and having everyone else's sweat all over me. The other bands were Stole Your Woman, Maxeen (the lead is sooo sexy..omg) and Matchbook Romance. They were good.. then Yellowcard came on and they were great. I left a little early because I couldn't stand being in the pit, my head started hurting like a bitch and Doug had to save me a few times when I found myself in the middle of flying fists and bodies. Then I came home and showered, and hung out with Pete, Danny and Lauren and Danny and I hot boxed my bathroom.. HOLY SHIT I'd never been so high in my life.. I got soo sick and threw up everything in my stomach plus more. I didnt know you could get so sick from being high. I couldnt sit up or stand without being sick again so I just went to bed. Today was boring. Still felt sick. 11:49 pm	school can suck it. my life is boring!!!!!!! whats going on? i live in santa cruz. i'm supposed to be having fun all the time. i should know more people. i have fun but not nearly as much as i'm supposed to be. :/ What should I do to fix that? oh yeah, GO OUT MORE! dont get me wrong, i love living here and i appreciate it now more than i ever did last year... but i'm not as social as i want to be. maybe its because i love my housemates and i dont feel the need to be all talkative and social to new people. 12:10 pm	tired :( Halloween was fun but nothing too exciting. If you want to know about it, read Erik's journal. Saturday was chill... Ho came over and we got pedicures and went downtown which was cool. Then she ditched me to go back to Vallejo :( and I was all alone in an empty house. I rented 28 Days Later which was really good although it wasn't anything I had expected. I guess I was expecting a horror movie but it ended up being more of a drama or action movie but I still liked it. I kept looking behind me every minute or so to make sure no one was in the house because I was scared. I had to watch Catch Me If You Can on my computer to fall asleep. Sunday was uneventful... the roommates came back home and we watched the movie because no one else had seen it. I wasn't scared at all obviously. I think I'm getting over the person who's name is also a city in Florida. I haven't talked to him in a few days and I don't think about it. 4:53 pm	HEAT WAVE This weekend was hella fun. Friday night in Santa Clara for the wedding (not real) and then the progressive party. In case you don't know what a progressive party is, every dorm room is assigned a certain theme/drink. Our room (Denises room, but I'm pretty much a student at SCU) was Hawaiian Sunset shooters and then we played Kings. So the party moved from room to room, spending about 15 minutes in each. There was a beer theme, 50's martini theme, etc. It was fun. I picked up Orlando before, then we all partied in the dorms and then walked around town although I don't recall where we ended up going. Saturday night Denise came to Santa Cruz, and Pete's two friends from home were here visiting. We had a bunch of people over drinking and what not, then watched The Ring.... yea. Today i went to a review session for American Popular Music. The midterm shouldnt be too bad since its open note. I have a lot of shit to do this week. I'm excited for Halloween... Erik should be coming down with some brothers, then Denise for sure and I'm not sure who else. Come over! I got the JEssica Simpson CD!!!! It's really good. Theres a song that she wrote for her dad for when she got married called "You Don't Have to Let Go".. Its so touching! It's so fucking hot here. 12:32 am	hooray Change of plans: Halloween will now be in Santa Cruz... my friends will come down for that weekend and it'll be fun times! Halloween in Santa Cruz is insane.. its like mardi gras downtown, and theres so many people that it's hard to move around at some parts. I still need to figure out what I'm gonna be. Anyone else who wants to come here for Halloween, just let me know. our house is big enough for everyone! My life is boring otherwise..... Just living it up here in the great house with the greatest roommies :) Our next door neighbors just had a huge party last night so we went for out "neighbor appearance" but it was about 95% asian population so Roz left immediately and Pete and I stayed and drank... The guys are super nice and yelled out at the whole party "this girl can get whatever she wants!! and she doesn't have to tip you!!" It was cool. So naturally I got drunk. I got Pete drunk too, I kept handing him beers. 12:10 am	i started dance practice tonight for the dance team... it was really fun! we picked out our uniforms which are awesome. they're black velvet pants with a top that has one long sleeve, and a string of rhinestones going from the other shoulder to the opposite side waist.. and then on the bare arm theres a black glove like thing without the finger part.... its hot! we started learning choreography to Shake Ya Tailfeather! it was funny. some girls showed their choreography they'd been working on and they were pretty good, although it would look kind of odd doing major hip hop/rap dances with these nice velvet uniforms.. :/ IM GONNA BE SOOO SORE TOMORROW ITS NOT FUNNY i'm tired but i have to read about 50 more pages by tomorrow if i want to keep up with my reading schedule... (in other words i'm going to bed right after this). i think i have a reading impetement... every time i start reading, i fall asleep within 10-20 minutes, it never fails. do i need glasses for my crossed eyes? cell phone got stolen at Holly's party....so I am excited to get a new one thats better and I can finally download ringtones!!! yay!! 1:45 pm	school sucks WEll hey to the few people who read this. School is going fine, my classes are manageable but still tedious. I think my laziness gets worse as I get older. I try to do homework and read but I really can't read for more than 10 minutes. My eyes start to hurt, I start to get a headache and I am never interested in the material. It's bullshit! This past weekend was fun... brought Pete and Roz to Ben A's party, got Pete drunk for once!! Then Denise came up on Saturday with Javier, Christie, and Milo and we went to the beach and Jen and Meredith met us there. It was a fun day, then Denise stayed here and we made the BEST SHIT i've ever had! We used frozen juice and blended it with some of the Captain Morgans alchy, added ice and blended it to make the best daquiris i've ever had in my life. Usually I always taste alchohol in drinks but these tasted like sherbert. We peer pressured Pete into drinking too. It was great. So my new dilemma is what I'm going to be for Halloween, any suggestions? I found some random cool stuff.. fishnets, fishnet gloves, aviators, black feathered angel wings and a witchy purple and black skirt... but put together those don't make shit. I'm excited anyways.. HALLOWEEN IN CHICO BABY!!!!!! Tomorrow night Roz, Pete and I are going to a concert at Slim's in San Fran... Strike Anywhere, Vision, Tsunami Bomb and The Bouncing Souls are playing. I love bouncing souls but the other bands i'm not familiar with so i've been listening to them. Coming back to F-Town this weekend! 11:56 pm	COCKROACH! this must be my first update in my new house! YAY! well the house is awesome. i couldn't ask for anything more.. well, except for a school parking permit so the guys don't have to pick me up and drop me off all the time. so here's a GREAT story that just happened last night... my roommate Roz and I were getting ready for bed and I had mouthwash in my mouth and i saw from the corner of my eye something in the shower so I look, and theres this GIANT cockroach just chillin in our shower!! so I run over to Roz with a mouthfull of mouthwash and i'm frantically trying to tell her what's wrong so i pull her to the bathroom and we both scream again when she sees it. I'm about to cry because theres nothing in this world that I can't stand more than insects, let alone giant human-eating cockroaches in my house! So we run downstairs to Peter's room and knock but he doesnt answer, so we go back upstairs and at this point I'm almost in tears. Then Peter walks in all sleepy and looks in the shower, comes out of the bathroom with the fucking insect in his hand and I start screaming bloody murder for him to get it away and he starts walking towards me with it.... so I jump clear over my bed, onto the very edge of it and then I roll off onto my new picture frames, shattering them!! Peter says he's never seen anyone jump so far and so high before.. Then Colin comes in and he feels soo bad because hes the one who put it in there, ITS RUBBER!!!! i was so pissed.. i was crying and laughing at the same time.. i've never had an extreme of mixed emotions like that before... i was pissed and scared shitless and then i was laughing at the same time. poor Colin was so scared of me!
